Legal Experience
James Bogden is a registered patent attorney and member of BLACK LOWE & GRAHAM PLLC. Jim has experience in many aspects of intellectual property law, both in the United States and in foreign countries. His current practice includes patent procurement and related client counseling. Jim also has substantial experience in the transactional area, including technology and patent licensing. His technical background is in chemistry and biochemistry and his practice includes the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical areas. Jim received a B.S. in Chemistry from Lafayette College, an M.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Vermont and a J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law. Prior to joining the firm, he served as Director, Intellectual Property and Legal Affairs at ZymoGenetics, Inc. Before that, Jim held various positions of increasing responsibility at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company. He began his legal career at the law firm of Morgan & Finnegan in New York.
